Who we are:
Ear Aid Nepal is a charity that promotes good ear health and supports the treatment of hearing disability in Nepal. The charity is closely associated with the International Nepal Fellowship (INF) and is committed to the support of the INF Ear Hospital and Training Centre (IEHTC), an establishment that provides care, training and education for the population of Western Nepal. On occasion the charity may support other non-governmental organisations involved with the provision of care to individuals in Nepal or the Himalayan region with ear disease or deafness.

When you register on our website we will collect:

If you register as a volunteer we will also collect:
• your profession
• your telephone number
If you make a Gift Aid can be claimed we will also collect:
• your home address or post code.
How we keep you information safe.
Our mailing list is held by Mailchimp, an email marketing platform. Its privacy policy was updated in 2018 to comply with General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) UK.
How we use your information.
We use your information:
• To send our regular Newsletter
• To inform you of events relating to our work
• As a means of contacting potential volunteers
Who has access to your data?
The Trustees of Ear Aid Nepal have access to your data through the Mailchimp mailing list and volunteer list. We will not share the mailing list with any third party

Organisations need a lawful basis to collect and use personal data under data protection law. Personal data may be legally collected and used if it is necessary for a legitimate interest of the organisation using the data, as long as its use is fair and doesn’t adversely impact the rights of the individual concerned.
